Why is Obama not having religious leaders visit for the National Day of Prayer?

Since Rev. Wright and Obama aren't talking anymore, is that why Obama isn't bringing in religious leaders for the National Day of Prayer?

BTW, when's the last time Obama actually went to church? He stopped going during the campaign and hasn't found a church yet in DC.

Is Obama really a "Christian" as he claims or did he just go to Wright's church to network with fellow racists? Why is Obama not having religious leaders visit for the National Day of Prayer?Because Obama is Christian in Name only not thought, action and deed. He used this ploy to get Christians to vote for him and it worked. I guess the Joke is on them. Why is Obama not having religious leaders visit for the National Day of Prayer?
"Prayer is something that the president does every day," Gibbs said. "Privately, he'll pray as he does every day."

You should reread your Bible. Matt 6 5"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.Why is Obama not having religious leaders visit for the National Day of Prayer?Because Obama is not a Christian and never was. He was raised Muslim and always will be one. In his campaign he told the Islamic community that he would represent them and he is doing just that but ignoring a Christian Day of Prayer.

You're right, he does not go to church and has not since he sat in the pews of Rev. Racist Anti-America Wright
He hates Christians, that's all there is to it. He thinks that because he doesn't like going to the National Day of Prayer events that OTHER people share his views. Not so, if it's a "free country" then other people should be allowed to listen to religious leaders if they choose to.

He's not giving ANYONE the choice to pray, just NOT to. Nazi douche. Why is Obama not having religious leaders visit for the National Day of Prayer? He's doing this, like everything else, to spite Bush. Nobama doesn't care about the American people. He is a spiteful, weak, inexperienced man. Not a leader.

Next he'll be vetoing "GOD" Bless America. Why is Obama not having religious leaders visit for the National Day of Prayer?
It's good to see that on the National Day of Prayer you showed your Christian values and used the opportunity to bash the President. I'll pray for you today.
It is now ok to be bigoted against the Christians or not support them at all....He could have scheduled some speakers in to talk and let those who wanted to go join in ..He did not have to be there but he could have a least respected the day....Why is Obama not having religious leaders visit for the National Day of Prayer?
There is no constitutional requirement that a President attend church.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, he hasn't gone to mosque, either!:)
because he said about america , we are not christian now he wants to rule what we believe in, that will never happen
IT'S SHOW TIME.
Simple. Obama isn't a hypocrite like your boy george. bush claimed to be a "christian", then invaded iraq, murdered innocent men, women and children and then TRIED to claim that "god" told him to do it.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs defended the Obama administration's plan to recognize the National Day of Prayer on Thursday with a paper proclamation, rather than a public event at the White House.

"We're doing a proclamation, which I know that many administrations in the past have done," Gibbs told reporters Tuesday.

But that is a major change from the way the day was recognized during eight years of the Bush administration, when prominent evangelical and other spiritual leaders were invited to attend an event in the East Room.

"Prayer is something that the president does every day," Gibbs said. "Privately, he'll pray as he does every day."
National day of prayer? What is that another gathering of right wing kooks pretending to represent God? Kind of like the CCC?
Who cares? We are a secular republic and prayer doesn't belong in our government. Haven't we all had enough of so-called Christians over the past 8 years??
Maybe because it's a superstitious waste of time
Obama is not a racist.

But a lot of Republicans sure are.
He does not knew wat poeple like me who have knoladge can teach him
this is a free country and no one can be forced to pray in public
