Why are Republicans voting Obama, but voting Republicans for local elections?

Whilst I agree Obama will win the Presidential Election, do we want the Republicans controlling the Senate and the House?

They are planning to Sabotage Mr. Obama's presidency. Why are Republicans voting Obama, but voting Republicans for local elections?Although they mostly understand the true need for change, they still think having a deadlock in the Senate is the way to go...Please talk with your Right leaning friends and explain, if you don't like what the Dems do with a majority, in 2 years it can go back!!Why are Republicans voting Obama, but voting Republicans for local elections?
Are you serious? Republicans have absolutely no chance of controlling the house or Senate. One of my major issues I have with this years presidential campaign is the masses of uninformed voters. They are diluting the vote for use who follow politics closely. I vote on issues not on race or pop culture trends. I have seen more white trash and ghetto trash with bumper stickers on their cars and I have no doubt they know nothing about their candidate other than their race. Why are Republicans voting Obama, but voting Republicans for local elections?Obama will not win. Americans are not that stupid. You know that feeling you have about him: Maybe it was his preacher saying GD America, or his refusal to put his hand on his heart during the national anthem, or even his refusal to wear an American Flag lapel pin until we questioned his loyalty. Maybe because his middle name is a muslim name and he could very well not even be a citizen of this country and we know for sure that he has dual citizenship with Kenya and Indonesia. When you have dual citizenship where does your loyalty lie?

We Americans have learned that that feeling you get about someone is usually pretty accurate and should be listened to.

McCain has fought for this country since he was 17. How could anyone say Obama is more deserving? He has done nothing but take from this country.

Did you notice his grandmother was dying in Hawaii and his wife and children didn't even go with him to visit her? That was odd.

And your proof Republicans ARE voting Obama is........?

Well......we're waiting.........oh, I see: You don't have any proof of this.

Count the chickens before they hatch--just as the Dems did when they gave Obama the ticket to ride---a worldwide travel gig the man has truly enjoyed. Has anyone stopped to wonder why Obama campaigned OVERSEAS??? O made many friends while in those countries---especially in the MIddle East. Might want to keep that in mind.

Obama's banking on those mid-East buddies to be his "muscle" should he face Dem or Repub opposition. Ah, America held hostage---who didn't see THAT coming???

Obama as President will be a major let-down for his supporters--and deservedly so: You believed his deceit---and it'll co$t us all; the rich will get their $$$$ back, through taxes and higer consumer prices. Enjoy that "Share The Wealth" check, which surely will be nothing more than a pittance.

I can understand your anger towards the Republican Bush machine of excess train derailed spending in a war for oil in Iraq and a free pass for Corporate Repub America.

But looking at Obama as the people's knight against the rich and greedy is laughable. Remember: Democrat politicians and Obama supporters like Oprah ARE RICH TOO. Do you think the American rich will sit and let Obama "rob Peter to pay Paul"????

Oprah might like giving $$$$ away on her show----but on a nation-wide scale??? That's going too far. Let your anger, arrogance and racism towards whites be your blindness when you vote Obama---so we Independents can say "We told you so" 4 years from now.

Why are Republicans voting Obama, but voting Republicans for local elections?Republicans loath McCain and despise Palin

I was having lunch yesterday at Sam Wo's in SF Chinatown and a Republican was bashing Palin and McCain. A heated debate broke out with a group of Alaskan Tourists and a table of Navaho Indians.

I must admit is seemed strange to be in the middle of SF and find a dozen Republicans all arguing about how McCain broke from the GOP and went feral. Why are Republicans voting Obama, but voting Republicans for local elections?
actually, i am voting republican on the presidential ticket, but there are several local offices that i will be voting democrat. i am voting on the person, not the party. sorry to burst your bubble.
If any Republican wanted to sabotage Obama, they'd vote McCain.

Your assertion doesn't follow.....Republicans are voting Obama for pres but Republican for Congress? Why not vote a straight ticket? Why are Republicans voting Obama, but voting Republicans for local elections?
Most legislators are more concerned with getting re-elected over anything else. They'll do whats in their own best interest, some will do what they feel is their party's best interest, but the vast majority do not operate that way
"They are planning to Sabotage Mr. Obama's presidency."

How DARE voters do such a thing.

A monolithic government is bad. A monolithic government with a super-majority in congress is TERRIFYING.
I see how informed you are. %26lt;roll of eyes%26gt;
