politics is no longer about who has the best accomplishments, it is about who makes the best speeches and the most sugar-coated promises and is the best propogandarist around.



There is, and always has been, a pretty equal amount of people between democrats and republicans; what makes the difference is, how the undecided voters vote. and they are undoubtedly the biggest idiots on the planet! they will vote whatever appears the nicest and most appealing.



so, they has one of two choices to vote for:

1. John Mccain, a creepy looking old guy who has pictures thrown all over the media of shaking hands with George Bush, one of the most hated people today.



2. Barack Obama, a young, handsome black (which causes people insecure about racism to vote for him) guy, who is promising "change, change, change", no more "4 more years of the same". Covering the media as the caring guy who will make the country better and solve your problems.



Undecided voters are idiots; they will go for whatever looks best at the current moment. Simple: he's a good salesman. He can use his teleprompter-based speech skills and terrorism of his own creation to sell ridiculous shams of reform to the American people, such as the idea that we would be out of Iraq starting day one, which became six months from day one, which became a 23-month plan to pull SOME out, not all. He also cheated the American people out of over 5.5 trillion dollars in the bank bailout, one of the largest robberies of the Treasury in US history. The banks have not paid a fraction of it back yet.

It used to be that this was not a problem because stupid people didn't vote. However, they have been targeted by politicians who see them as the path to being elected. So the politicians use class envy, fears about racism, and outright fraud to coerce the ignorant to vote for them.



In the last election we finally reached the point where the ignorant outnumbered the intelligent. They voted themselves a man after their own hearts. He promised them the world with no intention of keeping those promises. Even now, as his administration is in epic failure mode and he breaks promise after promise on a weekly basis, he continues to have the support of a sizable group of people. These are the terminally ignorant for whom there is no hope.



The problem with democracy is everyone gets one vote. I know, for example, that somewhere there's a permanently unemployed, public-school-educated dolt who cancels out my well-considered vote. The problem feeds itself because people like me get discouraged with the system and give up. As a result we've seen the country reach a peak and go over the top. We are now starting the long, inevitable slide to destruction.



The good news is that most Americans will continue to happily live their lives, ignorant of the reality around them and enjoying themselves until it is too late. Even now, they are reading this post and thinking how they're going to disagree with it. Their ignorance is like a drug that keeps them happy right up to the end because they don't see and don't understand what's going on around them.
