they have made some progress towards that goal in Hawaii and that is still far from getting anywhere. as far as the thing with african americans, its very complicated, you can't pay everyone who is black, how will they figure out who's black ancestors were slaves and who's were slave owners. then theres the black slave sellers in africa who are from places like kenya who most likely sold michelle obmas ancestors to a slave company and exported her to america. so would barry obama pay twice as much tax since he is half white and kenyan? then theres all the blacks in america who are from other countries from central/south america, africa, Caribbean, Europe,
then lets get into everyone who came here after slavery ended? how would they justify later immigrants to pay for something that they had nothing to do with, then that also raises the question of blacks who enslaved whites since as long as they can remember, and it is a fact africans enslaved way more white europeans then the white man enslaved blacks. not to mention slavery still goes on in africa today and there the ones who kept the american slave trade going for so long as it did by lowering there prices every week.
to sum it up, its such a big headache that nobody wants anything to do with it except barry and he has no idea whats going on.

So, let's see. Congress is going to pass a law requiring payment of reparations. i don't think so. I do think it should give you reason to check out the things you hear at your rallies before you repeat them.
They do deserve reparations.
