As bad as the economy is right now, he wants to force the taxpayers to spend billions of dollars?

I need a new couch, I have the money, but I am going to wait until my friends go back to work, thats how I will know the economy is better. What is wrong with this Obama guy?Why does Obama feel there is a dire need to pass HIS healthcare reform program?This is a novel idea for the Obama administration - but if they want to have all these wonderful social programs that require billions of dollars - then the ONLY way they should be able to have them is by cutting an equal amount of other spending to - make way - for these proposed new allocations of funds. Obama thinks he can just keep spending and spending without any repercussions to the money supply, interest rates or the deficit. Obama is moron. Because he's just like Nixon. Trying to fool us all and then he's going to really mess everything up. Democrats have full control and they are bloodthirsty. Every time he talks my stock goes down two dollars. Wonder why that is?
Obama admin rushes things through so no one gets to see what it is all about until it is to late .

Just like his payback=stimulus bill which is doing no stimulating most of the stimulus does not kick in for a year to two down the road.



It will end of costing tax payers billions to pay for all those illegals getting free health care.

Ok - so I don''t believe in this stuff - but I can tell you what the theory is. There is something called Keynesian theory (which won a Nobel prize and is based on the US New Deal) which says that you can kick the economy out of recession by certain types of government spending. Gordon Brown (a highly educated idiot) in Britain believes in it, Tony Blair (a more practical man) did not. Elsewhere French voters have favoured this and postwar German voters hate this way of doing things.



So it seems as though these guys are just spending to get votes - but to be honest there is a clear justification which they probably believe in and they think will save everything.



By analogy they'd say it wasn't like buying a couch - its like lending money to a client who has just gone out of business so he can generate more business and pay you in the end - of course there are two sides to that
