Why is Obama enacting so much new legislation so quickly after becoming president?

I am having a hard time keeping track of all the legislation Obama has signed in the last 10 days. He is obviously working very hard. Do you think he's making too many decisions too quickly, or is he doing his best to help us?Why is Obama enacting so much new legislation so quickly after becoming president?He knows he has 150 days to get anything done before the press becomes disenchanted with him. At least that is the ordinary course of events, however the media seems to be overly fond of him in a queer sort of way. Look at the ridiculous stimulous package, resod the washington mall, waterpark in florida, millions to hollywood, millions to honey bee insurance, and the list goes on. Look at his administration-a secretary of the treasury who didnt know he had to pay taxes, Dashel also was a slacker in paying taxes, axelrod, emanuel and so on. If this was Bush he would have been hung out to dry. And yet the media still swoons and slobbers over his every move and he loves the media attention. Have you ever seen a president who was on TV every day?.Why is Obama enacting so much new legislation so quickly after becoming president?
I think the ground work was done long before he took office and the politicians know all the decisions either way, so all this work in 100 days is very well thought out and wouldn't happen if both parties didn't agree.

Plus like the comedians have been saying 'He's worked more in 10 days than compared to Mr. Bush 8 years' and other jokes. Shoot many have no material for their shows because he's actually working...



Of course only time will know, as it will take time for the dust to settle. Legislation has to start in Congress, get approved by both houses then sent to the President to be signed into law.



Obama is paying off his financial supporters where ever he can. He gags me to the max.
He's setting his agenda for America .

Or maybe he's trying everybody's favourite who has worked in an office try to look like you're busy. Or maybe he is trying to instill confidence in the people that somehow you're getting out of your recession? He acting as fast as possible so people don't have time to see what he's doing and threaten to fire their Congressmen for passing it.

It is called "the first 100 days". Every president thinks that he has to get as much done as possible during the honeymoon phase, if he is to get anything done at all.
He might be trying to overwhelm his opponents with sheer volume. If you keep proposing new legislation, your critics end up running around in circles trying to keep up.
I think he's trying to do as much damage as possible in as short at time as possible before everyone gets wise and throws him out of office.
I find it funny how Bush issuing executive orders was an abuse of power in the eyes of Liberals, and yet Obama has issued in 10 days what Bush did in his entire tenure.
He needs to fix what Bush screwed up as fast as possible!



If Bush hadn't screwed everything up, Obama probably wouldn't have to do so much to fix things!
