Should Obama be impeached for offering a job to keep a candidate from running for office?

It is a felony to do that and many analysts call what Obama did "Nixonian".Should Obama be impeached for offering a job to keep a candidate from running for office? He should be impeached for just his lies aloneShould Obama be impeached for offering a job to keep a candidate from running for office?
It certainly looks like a felony to me.Should Obama be impeached for offering a job to keep a candidate from running for office?AHAHHHAHAHAHAHA oh man, what a crap of nonsense

you conservatives are really desperate

no one forced the person to take the job.

Go take a US Government 101 class and learn what grounds are for impeachment
IF it can be traced back to him then yes, I don't think they will let Obama take the fall.Should Obama be impeached for offering a job to keep a candidate from running for office?may be BHO and Sestak should have a beer together and work things out.Should Obama be impeached for offering a job to keep a candidate from running for office?
Yes he should be I really don't care why as long as he is out
It's not a felony to do that. In fact, it happens openly all the time.

You think Hillary didn't know about the Secretary of State offer?

If you think it is bribery, then I suggest you read the federal bribery statute, which clearly states that to qualify as bribery, something of value must be offered in return for an OFFICIAL ACT. Deciding not to run for office is a personal decision, not an official act.

Read the statute for yourself.Should Obama be impeached for offering a job to keep a candidate from running for office?
I think he might be , and its up to the Justice dept. Sestek better have alot of protection around him, he should be under a protection order or something, he could ruin Obama easily!
If he did or knew about it.........He'll join Nixon being embarrassed out of office and we'll be dancing in the streets while the Libbies will be saying, "Oh Shyt, what did we do?"
Not only is it not a felony its not illegal at all. It would be illegal for him to offer him sole monetary compensation, but not a job.
yes he should be. not even the President is above the law. Bribery is against the law for all citizens.

I think its also an abuse of his office.
If it can be proved, yes. It is an impeachable offense.
No it's not a felony.

It is normal politics.

The "many analysts" on Fox TV are all lying.

Nixon had an army of private goons committing felony crimes, and tried to fire the Attorney General when it because clear he was caught.
There are meetings going on right now with his inner circle on how to get him out of his mess. I suspect someone will say, he misspoke and someone else misinterpreted a statement and nothing criminal was intended. They are real good on fooling the American public. I expect the democrats will prevent any real investigation into the matter.
Many Republican Analysts call it Nixonian, which is both ironic and inaccurate. Nixon would have had the FBI secretly investigate the guy, and possibly break into his campain headquarters.

No, allocating your resources so that your own people aren't in conflict is not a felony. That's just trumped up nonsense on the part of the GOP spin machine. The candidate didn't have to (and will probably regret the choice not to) accept the position. Bribery is an exchange of money for political favors. Words have meanings.

What felony do YOU think it is; Conspiracy to Commit Employment; Reckless Job Offering, or 1st Degree Not Being a Republican?
I would say no.

I don't think Obama should be impeached for any reason, not because I think he's a great president but because I don't think it would make any difference if we were to get a new president.

Every administration since Eisenhower has been owned and controlled by the super rich and the changes that we need to see in our economic, environmental, social and political systems on a global, species wide scale couldn't come from any P.O.T.U.S. but will have to come from us.

Also. Do you really think the house and senate, who's approval ratings are lower than the presidents' would have the stomach to proceed with impeachment trials now?

With the ongoing Gulf oil disaster, continuing occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, national and global economic crises...etc, would they really want the entire U.S. government bogged down in impeachment proceedings?

Finally. If you could get the president impeached, imho, you could find something allot better than the issue you've raised.

As I said before. Every president since Eisenhower has been owned and controlled by the super rich. They have also, therefore been forced more or less reluctantly to work against the best interests and will of the People and against the Constitution.

There you go. Just like every president since Eisenhower, Barack Obama has broken his oath of office to protect the Constitution.

Or, how about the fact that by supplying Israel with monetary, military and other material support the U.S. has been, and still is breaking its' own laws against materially supporting aggressive nations?
