Joe Biden has said that very soon after Obama is elected his administration will be tested by the international community. With Russia, Iran, North Korea, and now Syria arenas for terrorism or violence, what do you think the greatest danger is? Instead, he said that the next president (presumably Obama) will be tested by the international community and that Obama "has a spine of still" as apposed to McCain. McCain demonstrated that he is unable to act consistently as he jumped from one proposed solution to another during the financial crisis.What do you believe the major international test will be if Obama is elected?
I think Biden was talking out his rear. If he knows of a pending attack, he needs to let the appropriate people know (DHS, CIA). The reason Biden thinks his response may be wrong...is because Obama won't do anything.

I believe with the uneasy state of the world today any new President we have will most likely be tested- Biden believes Obama will be our next Pres; if he thought McCain was going to be our next Pres, Biden would have said McCain would be tested. With the intelligence diplomacy , integrity and character of Obama in addition to the advisers and cabinet around him, I believe Obama will handle any challenge as successfully as it could be handled.What do you believe the major international test will be if Obama is elected?
I believe Biden knows something, we don't. Maybe another terrorist attack
Our country is borderline crashing, and our enemies have been poised to pounce on us while we've been distracted and busy with our election year. It's scary no matter who wins. And I believe there's a downside to consider with both candidates facing something that huge.

McCain's temper and flip-flopping he seems to do over time, and Obama's secretive background, his inexperience as an executive (and just inexperience in general), and basically the big question mark -- he's a big unknown to us and the world. We honestly don't know how he'd handle that sort of situation.

McCain reminds us he was on the aircraft carrier during the missile crisis, he was a POW during Vietnam, and basically raised a military son, and has worked in Congress for years.

We can play guessing games and say, well, Obama seems to be the diplomat, seems to be calm and under control, but we really don't know how he'd handle it.

And McCain may have been there done that, but he wasn't the one in charge. What would he do if he is? He seems to have a better understanding of foreign policy than Obama, though, and more experience within it. Maybe his bit of temper makes him a more formidable leader in the sense that our enemies wouldn't mess with him or our country. They may see Obama as weak, untested, and a softy.

Things to consider.
You said major international. He wants to bomb Pakistan. He is a left winged nut job.
Every time the world goes into a deep recession like the one in the 30's a world power goes on the advance. World wide recessions and depression have yeilded both of our World Wars.



I think that if the United States looks financially damaged with a leader like Obama who is passive and is too eager to negotiate with Chaves, Irans Presidendt and Putin. They could form a coalition to take away power from the United States in it's weakend condition and with a weak passive leader.



I think it is a viable possibilty given that Chaves, Ahmadenijad (or whatever) and Putin are already standing as a united totalitarian front, that they could incite a war on the Western world to establish a new world order and super power.



Mind you this isn't a bash on Obama or a Pro McCain soap box I am on. It is a pattern throughout modern history that when the world goes into recession and America is in distress, a power has risen to challenge our position in the world.



The United Nations is validating Irans president by giving him a platform to spew hatred at America, and Putin is petro-powerful rich on oil reserves (same goes for Chavez) they are united. strong, and hateful towards America, and I see a very real possibility that they could incite a new war aimed at removing the United States from power. If history is or guide, it may very well be. People are quick to forget that the Soviet Union is for all intensive purposes back in the saddle and though there is no more cold war there is a very real and present danger.

I don't think Biden is talking about anything specific that's pending behind the scenes but I do think there is some truth to it. Why do you think so many terrorist leaders are supporting and endorsing Barack? Is it because he's "black." Is it because they like his policies and think he'll lead our country to greatness? Hell no! They think he'll run this country (a country that most others hate) into the ground and they'll try to blast us to oblivion.
Terrorist attacks on Americans and our allies in several countries at once, or on the seas, and domestic terrorism. There will be loss of life.



Obama will want to hold a cease fire type talk with the perpetrators, will call for our allies to show patience and understanding and want

them to vote him to lead negotiations.



The allies will go along at first, then as more attacks occur as Obama and the western world leaders are distracted, Obama will eventually retreat to the rough parts of Chicago for his own protection and try to

rule like the Wizard of Oz, from a remote location on a big screen TV.
