Where were all the republicans worried about Obama during the Bush years?

When GW was in power, all these conservative types cheered on his limitless, unchecked surveillance activities, detention powers with no oversight, expanding federal police powers, secret prison camps, even massively exploding and debt-financed domestic spending, but now that Obama's in power, they are suddenly worried about creeping fascism?Where were all the republicans worried about Obama during the Bush years? They were off in the republican mountains being herded around like sheep by the likes of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rove, with their mouth pieces of Limbaugh and Hannity to spread their lies... Nothing has changed except they didn't get their way so they are simply acting like children.

BTW Bush now endorses Obama.... I didn't see that coming but I have to take my hat off to him.Where were all the republicans worried about Obama during the Bush years?
I agree. Bush has set the stage and Obama is continuing in the wrong direction.Where were all the republicans worried about Obama during the Bush years?I'm sorry, I don't speak zombie.
I didn't hear any cheering... Why are all the democrats cheering Obama's limitless growth of government? They were screaming about the exact same thing during the last 8 years.Where were all the republicans worried about Obama during the Bush years? You don't understand conservatives. Many of them never supported Bush. Instead, they saw him as a threat to this nation's stability just like Obama is. They are both front men for New World Bank socialists.Where were all the republicans worried about Obama during the Bush years?
$1.3 Trillion blown up a hogs a s s wouldn't have anything to do with it.

Not at all.
Other than the domestic spending none of what you claim is true and most conservatives decried his deficit spending..Where were all the republicans worried about Obama during the Bush years?
Where do you get the idea that Republicans cheered all of that on? In fact, Republicans absolutely hated Bush's excessive spending. I know that for certain. At least it's true of real Republicans.
they were sleep
Oh? Do you know "all these conservative types"??? You certainly don't know THIS conservative and while I didn't approve of some of Bush's policies, I didn't see a reason to get onto the hate train that the left was fueling. Nor do I plan to get onto any hate train with this administration.

And while I didn't vote for Obama, I hope and pray he has a successful presidency. And that means I hope his administration is good for America. So far, it isn't looking so good, but it's still early and things can turn around.

Please stop generalizing, you embarrass yourself.

D1
Bush was going after the bad guys. Obama is going after Americans.
Two reasons. One is that the Republicans have a deliberate strategy never to cooperate with Democrats, never to approve anything a Democrat does. By cooperating with Obama, even on shared goals, they hand him a victory. By agreeing with anything he says, does, or wants, they are endorsing him.

The other is that there are a long list of 'crimes' that are only illegal when a Democrat does them. Accepting campaign money from a foreign power. Allowing friends to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom. Going back on a campaign promise because conditions have changed. Deficit spending. The list goes on and on. Law-and-order Republicans never figure the laws apply to -themselves-.
Funny how things change, your side hated them, now you love them. Isn't politics a hoot.
they need to practice there whines
In your eyes what Bush did was wrong , right ? So BO continuing Bush's practices is okay now because BO is doing them , you sir are a hypocrite !
"When GW was in power, all these conservative types cheered on his limitless, unchecked surveillance activities, detention powers with no oversight, expanding federal police powers, secret prison camps, even massively exploding and debt-financed domestic spending"

Why do you lie?
I'm sorry, where exactly were you looking for the past eight years? Most Republicans were appalled at Bush's willingness to spend like a drunken sailor. Most of us were concerned with the advance of governmental intrusion into our private lives but let's face it, no one has ever, in a Republican administration suggested that our choices about our own health care will be second guessed by the government. The Bush intrusions were all devised to give the government the ability to prosecute those who broke the laws by having evidence available to do so, not to proscribe certain behaviors and force compliance.

Don't start pointing fingers unless you understand what your own party has suggested.
yes I am. thanks for reminding me how much better President Bush was than President Obama has been so far. Hope things change or we are all down the drain.
cheering a mission accomplished sign
Good Republican Presidents grow the debt through Military spending. This does two things. Gains military strength, and prevents a Democrat from having money to spend. Ie, Obama says he will cut it in half. That's Perfect, just like Bush wanted and Reagan did the same.
No one knew of Obama during the Bush years. He was too busy voting "Present" in Illinois. He never lead on any legislation or did anything of value. So how could people be worried about him.

By the way, just so you know Bush isn't President anymore. I just thought you should know in case no body told you.
They only were because they felt that he was all so different from Bush, when in fact, he's not. He's only bringing the ideologies of Bush to a far greater scale than they ever were before, now that he and the Democratic Congress simply pass their acts while telling us to be silent and accept them as flawless truth, as well as statements made by Obama on:

Policy toward detainees from the terrorist fights:

He also wants to escalate Afghanistan

Get us to spend, without skepticism of him or the Congress, a bill which is about double of what Bush passed with TARP, which utterly failed in reversing our economic crisis, even almost a year from the fact. It's also just the beginning too.

In the end, when the Republicans were afraid of Obama, they were actually afraid of what Bush did, but were blinded by partisanship for the moment.
they were to busy praising their own tax cuts
Because it's OK when a Republican does it.
Agreed.
