The book revelations talks about a beast with a golden tongue who will manipulate humans into a world of corruption. Do you think that Obama could actually be that person. I mean it looks as though he just bullshitted his way into office, using his family and idealistic ideas. to vaultone100, actually, if you START reading the Bible you won't be afraid of your shadow. The common misconception is that the antichrist will be, according to the Bible, a man in his forties, of Muslim descent, who will deceive with a massive christlike appeal and that "people will flock to him adn he will promise false hope and world peace and, when in power, will destroy everything." However, very little of that actually appears in the Bible. And to Mirsada, yeah sure he has love in his heart, except for the fact that he steals hard earned money from the rich in a capitalist system (can anyone say, socialism?), supports the killing of unborn babies, and has filled us up with false promises just to get elected. (and if you honestly think any one man can fix the economy, reduce the national debt, and alleviate poverty in four years, all without making taxes ungodly high, then i'm truly sorry that you have that much faith in a man who will inevitably let you down.)
I think its highly possible. I mean, we've been told for years and years that we need to watch and the second coming is on our doorstep. If it was on our doorstep 75 years ago its probably ready to break the door down now. As to the leaving our troops out there, ever heard of divide and conquer?

Revelation 17. Describes the Great Whore. All women mentioned in Rev. are symbols for a religious group. The Whore mentioned in this chapter is linked to the red dragon. Look at verse 9. The heads of the dragon represent a city that sits on 7 hills. - Rome. This is where the Woman has her residence. The "Woman" here is a religion - The Cathollic Church. The Vatican is her "home".
