That is one possible reason. Although the US is a terrorist target for various reasons and not just for its support of Israel.

Another is that it would look extremely hypocritical if in the same speech as saying Arab citizens should break free from the chains of their oppressive rulers and gain the basic human right of freedom e.t.c and that the US is willing to support you in the pursuit of those values.
