noCan Obama's pragmatic approach to leadership work with a congress full of ideologues?Pragmatic? Really?
No, seriously? Are you serious?
Congress is not full of ideologues. In fact, with the Republicans in the minority, it's not even close to being half-full of ideologues. Can Obama's pragmatic approach to leadership work with a congress full of ideologues?Provided your a tax cheat. You have to show your nuggets before qualifying. Can Obama's pragmatic approach to leadership work with a congress full of ideologues?
Obama is the most racially divisive president the U.S. has ever known.
In addition, he is trying to create economic devisivness through lies and misrepresentations of Capitalism.
I am an independent voter. And, I will do everything in my power to ensure that Obama's socialist agenda fails.
Socialism is toxic to prosperity and individual rights.
Here is a funny Obama parody:

Politicians only care about their political future.
If it happens to coincide with what is good for america - then it is just that.
A coincidence. Can Obama's pragmatic approach to leadership work with a congress full of ideologues?
he talks a good game, but his policy choices are far different.
If you ask someone to work with you then ignore his suggestions and put forth ideas he has said he cannot approve, what do you expect?
It's one thing to ask people to work with you; it's another to work with them.
Yes he has as every President the "bully pulpit" which helps his cause. I was surprised the vote was against his Guantanamo bay closing, so its not exactly a rubber stamp situation. I do think he is pragmatic sometimes too. I have mostly a problem with his choice of CIA chief who has no experience and seems to think being warm and fuzzy is what the agency needs and gives no opinion on N.Korea or any other issue to date. He did not seem too pragmatic on making sure the auto companies had rules but the banks have not to date except the credit card vote and it does not go into effect for nine months. so on that pragmatic score I give him no pragmatism.
Yes, I think that sometimes the bottom line is all that matters. What I mean is that as long as he gets what he wants done that is all that matters. He really is following what I think is true Christianity. I really admire him for doing that. I don't care what religion anyone is but he is not saying "God told me to go to war?" or something else ridiculous the way Bush %26amp; many other Christians do in this country. If things don't work at all the time then I trust the process. I heard Bill Clinton speak about health care once %26amp; of course they were disappointed with all Hillary tried to do %26amp; that it didn't go through but listening to him speak about it showed they are really done a tremendous amount of good work on %26amp; its time would come.
Unfortunately, no. The grand obstructionist party is doing all they can to make sure he fails. It reminds me of when Clinton took over the White House, he had all these great ideas but the majority wouldn't agree with him on anything. And so America suffered, but the republicans did all they could to assure he would fail as a president.
People are to hung up on the word 'socialist!' Social Security, MediCare, MediCal and the Internal Revenue Service are socialist programs. Are you twits opposed to socialism suggesting we put an end to these programs? He should have had the votes to shut down Gitmo but a bunch of democrats got paranoid after listening to the Dark Vader!
Real Leadership and Problem Solving, scares the Crap out of the Right. However, the average American is Sick and Tired of all this Bushit towards actually solving the problems facing World Peace and all of us just getting along and working towards the betterment of Mankind.
Obambi is a far left true believer; no matter how many times you libs deny it, that remains a fact. Your premise is false. Obambi's voting record as a US Senator was the most liberal in the entire Senate. Stop telling lies about your messiah.

since he doesn't leave office atleast until Jan 2013 I don't see much of any alternative lol and the GOP is not much help these days the party of "NO" lol
I think it can work as long as he stays grounded and reasonable. You'll find that reasoning and logic go a long way.
