What are some examples of socialist views that Obama harbors?

This is for school. Thank you. This really has nothing to do with who you support, but you have to admit, Obama does have some socialist views. That is all I am asking.What are some examples of socialist views that Obama harbors?1) Encourages hatred between classes by constantly promising to "punish" the rich with higher taxes - in effect, he is saying that the rich have no business being so rich, and it is their duty to share their money with everyone else. He constantly repeats this so that the "poor" and "middle class" will grow to resent the "rich" more and more.



Sounds real nice, but it punishes success while rewarding laziness and failure. Where do you think that will lead?



2) Redistribution of wealth - Obama and Biden want to call it something else, but a rose is a rose is a rose - what else would you call it when you want to take money from the "rich" by greatly increasing taxes and distribute it out to the "poor" through welfare programs? The end effect would be that "wealth" would be "redistributed".



Again, sounds real nice, but the "rich" are also the people who own the companies that provide most of the jobs. Do you think "poor" people own any companies? Higher taxes means increased expenses, which means companies will have to make some cuts. That means downsizing, layoffs and in some cases, moving overseas where taxes are lower. What are some examples of socialist views that Obama harbors?
Reagan greatly expanded Social Security and placed it on sound financial footing for decades to come, and thanks to Reagan's efforts, millions of those boomers who voted for Reagan aren't faced with poverty as a result of the meltdown in stocks and bonds and their real estate which would deplete their retirement savings.



Hoover and Nixon proposed universal healthcare.



Lincoln, Hoover, Eisenhower, Nixon, and Bush to list a few Republicans, proposed massive government investments in infrastructure, in part to provide jobs, but primarily to move the nation into a new era of economic growth.



I don't see how Obama is any more socialist than your typical Republican president.
