So the recession is over? I guess all the unemployment is resolved and all Americans are working. Oh wait unemployment is running at just around 10%. People are still losing their jobs. Just because a politician tells you something doesn't make it true. I will believe the recession is over when unemployment starts to drop.

First of all.....Unemployment is still 10% and businesses are still closing at a record rate. The recession is NOT over...regardless of what you hear.
Secondly......what does racism have to do with agreeing with Obama?

Obama hides his true feelings - I guarantee it. Why is the media afraid to report what is REALLY happening to America? Where is their responsibility to the American people? To the Constitution? I'm a 41 year old, white, male, military veteran. I'm so glad we have a smart, decent, thoughtful president after that last eight year disaster. He may even be better than Clinton in his vision and abilities.

No, they don't really respect anyone, not even each other. Racism is deep seeded and not based on any logical or practical criteria even though they will lay out some rationale for it. They won't respect it because recession benefits them. Recession enhances irrational fears which is their biggest asset. If you are waiting for some validation from them you will turn blue and die from holding your breath before that happens. Racism never died in American or American politics it just when underground.
Sadly, President Obama will never get the respect he deserves, no matter what he does. He will always be undermined because he is a black man.
