How is Obama's social policy agenda in comparison to the New Deal?

Discuss President Obama鈥檚 current social policy agenda, and compare it to the New Deal. What challenges does he face in the current socio-political climate? How is this different or similar to the New Deal era, and why?How is Obama's social policy agenda in comparison to the New Deal?FDR and 0bama both used taxpayers' money to bail out private industry. How is Obama's social policy agenda in comparison to the New Deal?
Getting a bit of homemade economic policy here.

The recession in the 1930s was worse than the world had seen, and the policies implimented were designed to help deal with this crisis.

We can see from other recessions in other countries that they tend to go deep into recession and then slowly come out of recession, same under FDR as under Reagan, Bush/Clinton and every other recession.

FDR sort of stumbled upon the new deal, he did not really intend to do what he did as a great historical act to save the world from depression. Obama is also not trying to perform a miracle, he is trying to impliment stead and intelligent policy that will aid the country to come out of recession in the best way possible, according to the best economic evidence.

But the economy is like the brain, we think we can deal with it properly, but the reality is we don't have much of a clue. We cannot see what would have happened had this person been elected.

We do know that had the banks gone to pot, a lot of people would have lost a lot of money, and a few people would have gained billions, in fact it happened, but would have been worse than what happened. But the president and his powers does not have that much ability to get many people back into jobs. You can help business, like the republicans want to, but their way will simply lead to an unstable economy again. Up, down, up down, like a yo-yo. Better to have it rise properly out of the ashes so that everyone can benefit in the future.

Most republicans liked Bush's policies which got the world into this economic mess. People claim it was the banks, but under which law were they able to do all of this? The fact that the oil rig disaster happened because the government will not put proper controls on these things, because of profit issues shows that the governments of the past have played dangerous games with people's lives in order to maximise profit.

At what point does profit become a burden and not an asset? When it starts hurting people.

Bush's military spending, his handing out money to those poor rich people, pushed the economy so he could get re-elected and that made the economy crash harder than if it had falled at the beginning of his presidency when it was supposed to fall!!!How is Obama's social policy agenda in comparison to the New Deal?Obama is intentionally destroying the USA by repeating FDR's disastrous New Deal policies that prolonged the Depression.

The USA had already recovered from two earlier depressions in the 1920's. The depression that started in 1929 could have ended just as quickly - in two years or less, as they did under Harding.

But Hoover was Harding's rival in the Republican Party, and he refused to do what Harding did. That made the Depression last until the end of his one term in office.

Then FDR began disastrous economic stimulus programs that extended the Depression for another five years. He intended to wreck the economy to force the USA into socialism, which he dearly loved.

But the start of World War 2 in Europe put an end to his plans. In 1938, our allies bought weapons and munitions from the USA, and the flow of foreign money into the USA ended the Depression.

Obama is trying to do the same thing as FDR did. He's hoping this time there won't be a world war to stop him from destroying our economy and forcing us into socialism, and eventually communism. How is Obama's social policy agenda in comparison to the New Deal?
