Do you think an Obama win will have a positive impact on inner city black youth?

I know there are very successful African-Americans. I've had a couple of black bosses in my career already at the age of 29. Obviously, there is also another segment of the black population that still lives in the inner city that is prone to violence and gang mentality. My hope is that an Obama win will bring a lot of these people into our functioning society and be a new beginning for them.



How do you think an Obama win will impact our inner cities?Do you think an Obama win will have a positive impact on inner city black youth?I think it will help because many inner city kids have never seen black people who are successful and that there is an alternative to the streets.

I most def know that many "inner city black youth" are more enthusiastic for better themselves just like I have. i want the first answerer to please do research before you type and many black people didnt vote for Obama because he is black get real mush brain below me.
Yes I do, because he will not be seen as a racist ba*ta rd when he inforces laws that may be "against them" Hopefully people will also see change can happen and not everyone in america is out to get them, people can be who you expect them to be it's a lot easier to live up to your expectations then try beating the stupid sterotypes. I think it is what inner city youth needs at this time, A true "strong" role model and not some rapper.
