What is Obama's exit strategy in Afghanistan? When we expect that war to end and the troops to come home?

Why isn't congress pushing to set an arbitrary time table for Obama like they tried to do under Bush? What's changed in their minds? What is Obama's exit strategy in Afghanistan? When we expect that war to end and the troops to come home? No, no body tried to get Bush to set a time table to get out of Afghanistan. But, Someone has forgotten how the Democrats screamed (almost as loud as the mobs shouting about health care) about Iraq.

The answer to your question is that Obama doesn't have a exit strategy in Afghanistan. The troops will not be coming home anytime soon and more will be sent over, you can bet on that.

It is even possible that not all the troops will be out of Iraq in the time line that Obama promised when he was campaigning.

Obama just had no idea what he was talking about as far as the 'war on terror' was concerned. Guess that's why it's not called that anymore. What is Obama's exit strategy in Afghanistan? When we expect that war to end and the troops to come home? That's above Obama's pay grade. Notice, he hasn't hardly talked about Afghanistan since he got into office.

He's afraid to. Voting "Present" is easier than actually doing something about it. And, besides people are dying in Afghanistan. He's working out the kinks in his Health Care plan overseas. What is Obama's exit strategy in Afghanistan? When we expect that war to end and the troops to come home?Nobody tried to get Bush to set a timetable in AFGHANISTAN. Obama will leave AFGHANISTAN when the job is finished.....You do know IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN are two different countries right? And it was Al queda from AFGHANISTAN that perpetrated 9/11?What is Obama's exit strategy in Afghanistan? When we expect that war to end and the troops to come home?
Afghanistan is a cluster.

We learned nothing from watching the Russians bleed money into that country for 20 years.
