Fact of the matter is that in order to get elected, you need white males in the middle class. And accordingly that is the blue collar American.



Hussein Obama is a socialist who wants to take more money from these individuals via taxes on the individuals and on the companies those blue collar workers work for. Clinton has also indicated the same. Both of them want to give that money to other socialist governments and people who are not even citizens of this country. The effect would be that those non-Americans would have a better standard of living than the blue collar tax-payer. That is factual.



Blue collar America wants to keep what it earns. Neither of the socialist/democrat candidates will allow that to take place. Neither will carry the white male vote and thus neither will carry the blue collar American.





EDIT: For those of you who are indicating that the blue collar workers in America are more worried about what they will be able to put on the table for dinner, then you should look carefully at both of the socialist/democrat candidates. Both will not make permanent the Bush tax rate cuts. Both want to tax ALL big businesses, but will not tell you what a big business is. Both want to tax the rich, which Hussein Obama defines as someone earning $75,000 or more annually while Hillary defines it as $90,000 to $120,000 or more annually. So I think you people really need to understand what constitutes a blue collar worker because under either of the socialist/democrat candidates, you may be considered a rich white collar worker. Obama's base of support is made up of the same people who would be supporting Dennis Kucinich, if he was still running. It's not enough support to win a presidential election.

Obama currently leads mccain in polls of both independents and working class. He has struggled against Hillary Clinton with working class males, but those people are not going to vote for John McSame.
